What the DOGErs Keep Finding at Social Security Explains the Progressive Spasms

31st March 2025

Read it.

If you’ll remember back to last week, when Elon and the DOGE team made their first official appearance together on Bret Baier’s show, I said the segment on Social Security should be required viewing for every little old recipient squawking about a billionaire 400 times over trying to steal their $1500 a month check.

The reason SS recipients now have to personally come to an office to change their banking info if they wanted a bank deposit address changed was because of the rampant phone fraud the DOGE team had uncovered almost immediately. Forty percent of ALL CALLS were fraudulent efforts to change direct deposit info. This was done to protect Granny, not rob her and make her life miserable.

That the Biden administration in 2024 – one year – gave 2.1 MILLION NON-CITIZENS social security numbers.

It turns out the system took quite a hit – the worst part being? It was intended to hit the system hard. To create a class of Democratic loyalists, dependent on the state from the very second they stepped over the border.

Toddler Is Kicked Out of Nursery ‘for Being Transphobic’ – as Families Blast School’s ‘Insanity’

31st March 2025

Daily Mail (UK).
A toddler has been kicked out of nursery after being accused of transphobia, new figures reveal.

The child, aged either three or four, was suspended for ‘abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity’, data from the Department for Education shows.

The offences took place in the 2022-23 academic year at a state school, according to The Telegraph.

Statistics indicate 94 pupils at similar primary institutions were suspended or permanently excluded for transphobia or homophobia in the same year.

This included ten pupils from Year 1 and three from Year 2, where the maximum age was seven, and one child was of nursery age.

Aren’t you glad you don live in Britain?

How Major American Law Firms Became a Tool of the Left

31st March 2025

And judges … don’t forget the judges….

Judge James Ho of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals recently charged that the nation’s major law firms are infested with the woke ideology of the Left, infusing them with “institutional bias” and leading them to provide pro bono and other assistance on only one side of the political divide.

After more than two decades in the heart of darkness—Washington, D.C.—my own observations of the legal community match those of Ho.

Pro bono work for liberal causes gets you praised and rewarded. But seek to do pro bono work for conservative causes, and you will be criticized, denied permission to engage, and possibly thrown out of your law firm.

‘Migrant Influencer’ Who Taught Illegals How to Break Into American Homes Deported – and Is NOT Popular Back Home

Not that it would matter if he were.

Venezuelan illegal immigrant Leonel Moreno, known as the “migrant influencer,” who amassed a half million followers on TikTok, was deported to Caracas early Friday morning following his 2024 arrest by ICE in Ohio.

In a series of short videos on TikTok, Moreno bragged about receiving ‘stacks of cash’ from American taxpayers and urged other illegal aliens to take advantage of all the free money progressives were handing out. He has thanked “Papa Biden” for the free cash.

Thank you, Joe Biden.

“The Luigi Mangione Access to Healthcare Act”: Cali Considers Ballot Initiative Named After UnitedHealth CEO Killer

31st March 2025

Read it.

Just when you thought Democrats couldn’t outclass themselves after Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Texas Gov. Abbott as “hot wheels”, here comes California to make sure you’re always entertained.

A new California ballot initiative, named after alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione, has been filed with the state Attorney General. It seeks to ban insurers from delaying, denying, or altering any doctor-recommended treatment that could risk serious harm, including death or permanent injury, according to KTLA.

If passed, the initiative would require that only physicians—not insurance company staff—can decide to delay, deny, or alter medical treatments. Hiring non-physicians for such reviews would become a felony.

The fact that Dramacrats make heroes of criminals comes as no surprise. The fun part is watching insurance companies exit California at flank speed if this passes. How stupid are the voters of California? Pretty stupid, it would seem–after all, the state is run by Dramacrats–but this will take it to new lows.

Parents Arrested in UK for Complaining About Their Kid’s School in WhatsApp Group

31st March 2025

Read it.

The parents of a nine year old British girl were arrested by police who came to their home after they complained about their child’s school in a WhatsApp chat group.

Yes, really.

The Times reports that Police arrested Maxie Allen and Rosalind Levin in front of their daughter on suspicion of malicious communications, harassment, and causing a nuisance on school property.

The pair were thrown in a jail cell over comments they made about the Cowley Hill Primary School in Borehamwood,

The report notes that the parents had taken issue with the school’s process of hiring a new head teacher, with school governors stepping in and issuing them with a warning for causing “disharmony”.

The school later completely banned the parents from the premises and were told they could only communicate via email.

The parents were then allegedly accused by the school of making “disparaging” remarks about the institution and “casting aspersions” in a parents’ group on WhatsApp, prompting the school to contact police.

Aren’t you glad you don’t live in Britain?

South Africa’s Highest Court Denies Bid to Have ‘Kill the Boer’ Declared Hate Speech

31st March 2025

Read it.

“The application should be dismissed as it bears no reasonable prospects of success,” stated the order from the Constitutional Court.

The case was brought by AfriForum, a South African nongovernmental organization representing white South Africans, who constitute 7 percent of the population and own 70 percent of the farmland. South Africa consists of 62 million people.

“After this shocking court ruling, we see that this is no longer the case. We are seeing an increasing radical implementation of the Constitution. We see an increase in ideologically-driven judges,” said AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel in a statement. “However, we are not going to become discouraged.”

“Kill the Boer” is an apartheid-era song. Boers are white settlers of primarily Dutch descent who often pursued an agrarian living in what is now South Africa. The term “Boer” has been used to refer to white farmers in the country, and the lyrics of the “Kill the Boer” song mostly consist of the word “shoot.”

Deliberate Arson Targets GOP Headquarters in Albuquerque

Early this morning, the entryway of the Republican Party of New Mexico’s headquarters in Albuquerque was destroyed in a deliberate act of arson which also included spray painting the words ‘ICE=KKK.’ This horrific attack, fueled by hatred and intolerance, is a direct assault on our values, freedoms, and our right to political expression.

This is not an isolated incident. It is part of a disturbing pattern of politically motivated violence that has plagued our country—fueled in part by the silence and implicit encouragement from progressive leaders who refuse to condemn these acts. Their failure to stand against political violence has created an environment where attacks like this are not only possible but increasingly frequent.

Experimental Demonstration of Electric Power Generation From Earth’s Rotation Through Its Own Magnetic Field

30th March 2025

Read it.

Earth rotates through the axisymmetric part of its own magnetic field, but a simple proof shows that it is impossible to use this to generate electricity in a conductor rotating with this http URL, we previously identified implicit assumptions underlying this proof and showed theoretically that these could be violated and the proof circumvented. This requires using a soft magnetic material with a topology satisfying a particular mathematical condition and a composition and scale favoring magnetic diffusion, i.e. having a low magnetic Reynolds number Rm (C.F. Chyba, K.P. Hand, Electric power generation from Earth’s rotation through its own magnetic field. Phys. Rev. Applied 6, 014017-1-18 (2016)). Here we realize these requirements with a cylindrical shell of manganese-zinc ferrite. Controlling for thermoelectric and other potentially confounding effects (including 60 Hz and RF background), we show that this small demonstration system generates a continuous DC voltage and current of the (low) predicted magnitude. We test and verify other predictions of the theory: voltage and current peak when the cylindrical shell’s long axis is orthogonal to both Earth’s rotational velocity v and magnetic field; voltage and current go to zero when the entire apparatus (cylindrical shell together with current leads and multimeters) is rotated 90 degrees to orient the shell parallel to v; voltage and current again reach a maximum but of opposite sign when the apparatus is rotated a further 90 degrees; an otherwise-identical solid MnZn cylinder generates zero voltage at all orientations; and a highRm cylindrical shell produces zero voltage. We also reproduce the effect at a second experimental location. The purpose of these experiments was to test the existence of the predicted effect. Ways in which this effect might be scaled to generate higher voltage and current may now be investigated.

Medical Benchmarks and the Myth of the Universal Patient

30th March 2025

The New Yorker, a Voice of the Crust.

When my daughter was ten and a half months old, she qualified as “wasted,” which unicef describes as “the most immediate, visible and life-threatening form of malnutrition.” My wife and I had been trying hard to keep her weight up, and the classification felt like a pronouncement of failure. Her birth weight had been on the lower end of the scale but nothing alarming: six pounds, two ounces. She appeared as a dot on a chart in which colored curves traced optimal growth; fifteenth percentile, we were told. She took well to breast-feeding and, within a month, had jumped to the twentieth percentile, then to the twenty-sixth. We proudly anticipated that her numbers would steadily climb. Then she fell behind again. At four months, she was in the twelfth percentile. At nine and a half, she was below the fifth.

Our pediatrician was worried. Ease off the lentils and vegetable smoothies, we were warned; we needed to get more calories into our babe. Ghee, peanut butter—we were to drench her food in these and other fats and wash them down with breast milk and formula. And that’s what we did. When we came back a month later, though, we learned that she had dropped further—and crossed into “wasted” territory.

Was this what malnutrition looked like? She seemed to be flourishing. She was happy, adventurous, and exuberantly social, babbling incessantly and forever engaging strangers with flirtatious stares. She had cheeks as plump as the juicy clementines that she loved to eat with full-fat yogurt. Although slow to hands-and-knees crawling—scooting was her preferred means of locomotion—she was hitting most of her other milestones. She was also growing longer and longer, shooting from the twelfth percentile at birth to the thirty-sixth at ten months.

My generation had a different definition of ‘wasted’.

A Case for Net Zero Immigration

30th March 2025

Read it.

At this historical juncture when America is at last taking action on unlawful migration on the one hand and on the other hand credible sources such as Goldman Sachs are predicting radical worker displacement by AI and robotics it might be an opportune time to examine what labor and immigration policies really will put America, and Americans, first. A reversal of the deindustrialization processes which have beset the country over the past fifty years (and became turbo-charged once China was ushered into the WTO in 2001) if it is to be accomplished re-industrialization will look less like Rosie the Riveter and more like Robby the Robot.

There are some, with whom the Donald Trump of the shockingly gold-festooned NYC apartment might instinctively side, who call for bigger because…better, right? Matthew Yglesias argues this case in One Billion Americans: The Case for Thinking Bigger. Of course if it only required a mega-sized population to be successful 800 million people in India would not depend upon daily government food handouts and 1.3 billion Africans would not rely on food imports for 80 percent of their groceries. Even in China, 11 percent of the population (which translates to roughly 153 million people) are unable to afford a healthy diet. So before inviting another 666 million people to enjoy the blessings of US liberty, policy makers should best examine all the most likely future scenarios.

If America is not completely full, it’s certainly full of foreigners. A 2018 study by researchers from Yale and MIT utilized mathematical modelling and estimated that the number of undocumented immigrants could be around 22 million, nearly double previous estimates. Common sense and Fox News will tell you that the real total is likely closer to 30 million after the Biden border-free-for-all. Combine that with some 30 million legal foreign born residents/naturalized citizens and you get 60 million newcomers. If you accept the figures of perennial immigration critic Ann Coulter (author of the famously prophetic book Adios America) of 50 million illegals you get a staggering 80 million foreign born residents, fully 24 percent of the aggregate Census Bureau population.

California’s Collapse: How Progressive Policies Are Destroying the Golden State

30th March 2025

Read it.

Once the embodiment of the American dream, California has become a cautionary tale of failed policies and ideological excess, writes Steve Hilton, author of the new book, “Califailure: Reversing the Ruin of America’s Worst-Run State.”

In an interview with The Daily Signal, Hilton, a Fox News contributor who moved to California in 2012 and has since raised a family and built a business there, explained why he felt compelled to document the state’s dramatic downfall.

“California means to America what America means to the world,” Hilton said, highlighting what originally drew him to the Golden State. “But that’s not how it is today. We’re not known for the positive things that inspire people around the world. We’re famous for the apocalyptic scenes of wildfires, dystopian urban chaos and crime, and thousands of homeless people wandering around like zombies.”

The statistics paint a grim picture. California, Hilton noted, ranks “bottom of the list if it’s a list you want to be the top of, and top if it’s a list that you want to be the bottom of.” The state has the highest poverty rate in America, the highest taxes, and the highest costs for housing, electricity, gas, and water. It also has the lowest home ownership rate, the worst business climate, and among the highest unemployment.

That year, Rep. Khanna made 4,253 trades making him by far the House’s most active trader.

The completely useless resolution that Khanna knew had no chance of passing urged banning “members of Congress from holding and trading individual stocks”, imposed term limits, a ban on PAC contributions, a “binding code of ethics” and term limits for Supreme Court justices.

Wokeness Finds New Life South of the Border

30th March 2025

Read it.

Wokeism, the ideology that infiltrated the permanent bureaucracy and increasingly gave it ideological ballast, is, if anything, an insurrection against the West. Woke, a term borrowed from black American slang, means being acutely awake to what its supporters believe to be the systemic oppression of the marginalized by society’s winners.

That is why Musk, whom President Donald Trump appointed to lead the Department of Government Efficiency, posts about how he also sees his role as saving Western civilization. DOGE is not a department but an effort outside of the government itself, and it’s charged with slashing this bureaucracy.

The oppressor versus the oppressed paradigm is a way of looking at all human experience directly from Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto

The Party That Woke Broke

29th March 2025

Read it.

Democrats have been wallowing in the despair of last November’s elections for months, unable—or maybe unwilling—to crawl out of the pit of public opinion they find themselves in. “It’s hard to win if you don’t know why you lost,” Axios’ Alex Thompson observed. But it’s even harder, some would say, if you know and do nothing about it.

To most people, the solution to the party’s problems is simple. After a year of losing ground with virtually every demographic—men, black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, young people, Independents, suburban moms—the polling all points to Democrats being completely out of step with everyday voters. So why not just abandon the extremism Americans rejected? For the party of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, the answer is much more complicated.

The crisis facing Democrats isn’t about their identity; they have one. The crisis is that they can’t moderate their ideology—or embrace it—without severe consequences. As National Review’s Rich Lowry put it, “The reason Joe Biden won in 2020 is he didn’t seem like a progressive, and one reason that his party lost in 2024 is that he governed like one.” For Democrats, ideological extremism is their kryptonite and their lifeblood. It’s what excites the base and repels the populace. In other words, it’s a recipe for long-term political disaster.

Anna Paulina Luna: The Truth Is Still Out There on JFK Assassination

29th March 2025

Politico, a Voice of the Crust.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) is still searching for a cover-up in the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy Jr. — asserting without evidence that an allegedly previously unreleased video could reveal new details of the president’s death, despite the recent declassification of reams of government files on the killing.

In an interview with Fox News on Friday, Luna said that she had just been told that NBC has a “never been seen before” video of the shooting that she would be requesting access to. The video, according to Luna, “allegedly” shows famed gunman Lee Harvey Oswald near Kennedy’s vehicle when the assassination happened.

Would that be the case, “he couldn’t have been the shooter,” Luna told Fox host Jesse Watters.

I love the smell of conspiracy in the morning.

As we all know, Oswald was in the 4th floor break room in the Texas Schoolbook Depository when the shooting took place.

What to Do

29th March 2025

Paul Graham.

What should one do? That may seem a strange question, but it’s not meaningless or unanswerable. It’s the sort of question kids ask before they learn not to ask big questions. I only came across it myself in the process of investigating something else. But once I did, I thought I should at least try to answer it.

So what should one do? One should help people, and take care of the world. Those two are obvious. But is there anything else? When I ask that, the answer that pops up is Make good new things.

I can’t prove that one should do this, any more than I can prove that one should help people or take care of the world. We’re talking about first principles here. But I can explain why this principle makes sense. The most impressive thing humans can do is to think. It may be the most impressive thing that can be done. And the best kind of thinking, or more precisely the best proof that one has thought well, is to make good new things.

Jihadism Is the Problem

29th March 2025

Quillette.

The eruption of anti-Hamas protests in Gaza is not merely an internal Palestinian power struggle; it represents an ideological reckoning. As Gaza’s citizens courageously defy Hamas rule and protest for an end to the war and the end of Hamas rule in Gaza, Palestinians in Gaza are having to reckon with the same forces that have caused chaos and destruction across the wider Middle East for many decades.

In December 2024, the Al-Qaeda offshoot Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which has controlled much of Syria’s Idlib province for nearly ten years, led a coalition of rebel forces who captured Damascus, ending the Assad family’s five-decade rule and a brutal civil war that claimed 600,000 lives and displaced over half of Syria’s population.

Many Westerners, including myself, tried to hold out hope that the interim government led by HTS leader Ahmed Al-Sharaa would rebuild Syria as a normal and peaceful country after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime. But since then entire families of Alawites have been killed in areas such as Latakia, Tartus, and Hama governorates. While these killings have been variously attributed to supporters of Syria’s interim authorities and to former government elements, reports indicate that, in the latest wave of violence, HTS fighters and other extremist factions carried out mass executions, kidnappings, and ethnic cleansing against Alawite civilians in areas near the front lines.

As long as Islam exists, ‘jihadis’ will be a problem. It’s been that way for 1400 years, and there is no indication that it will change. Whether our Ruling Class will continue prating how ‘peaceful’ Muslims are while ignoring the mass murder, or whether they will wake up and decide to do something about it, is an exercise left for the reader. (Exercise that doesn’t raise a sweat–my favorite kind.)

Far-Right Influencers Are Hosting a $10K-per-Person Matchmaking Weekend to Repopulate the Earth

29th March 2025

Wired, a Voice of the Crust.

For Wired, there is no Right but the Far-Right.

To find a woman who isn’t a feminist, doesn’t have purple hair or tattoos or piercings or fake body parts, and might want to go to church every now and then is probably worth $10,000.

Organizers behind A pronatalist conference with far-right ties in Austin, Texas, this weekend have set up matchmaking events for attendees that include the option of getting married onsite as part of their greater effort to repopulate the world, WIRED has learned.

Certainly the party of abortion and birth control and not-having-kids-to-save-the-planet can’t be depended upon to do so

According to its website, the sold-out Natal Conference, taking place March 28-29 at a hotel operated by the University of Texas at Austin, has “no political or ideological goal other than a world in which our children can have grandchildren.” But the event, an earlier version of which was promoted by Elon Musk, features speakers like Pizzagate conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec and Crémieux, an online pseudonym linked, according to The Guardian, to Jordan Lasker, who discusses falling birthrates and promotes eugenics.

Dunh dunh DUNHHHHHHH….  (So what?) I would hardly call The Guardian a reliable source, although it certainly shares the same ideological space as Wired has emigrated to from it’s earlier incarnation as a tech journal.

Natal Conference organizer Kevin Dolan, a father of at least six, according to Politico, has previously stated that eugenics—the belief that white people are genetically superior—and the pronatalist movement are “very much aligned.”

*sigh* Eugenics is not ‘the belief that white people are genetically superior’ (although I’m sure Margaret Sanger, patron saint of Planned Parenthood, thought so). Where do they get these ignorant spurgs? They actually pay people to write this shit.

Ultra-Processed Life

The digital realm, finance, and junk food have something in common: they’re all ultra-processed, synthetic versions of Nature that have been designed to be compellingly addictive, to the detriment of our health and quality of life.

In focusing on the digital realm, money (i.e. finance, “growth,” consuming more as the measure of all that is good) and eating more of what tastes good, we now have an Ultra-Processed Life. All three– the digital realm, money in all its manifestations and junk food–are all consumed: they all taste good, i.e. generate endorphin hits, and so they draw us into their synthetic Ultra-Processed World.

We’re so busy consuming that we don’t realize they’re consuming us: in focusing on producing and consuming more goods and services as the sole measure of “the good life,” it’s never enough: if we pile up $1 million, we focus on piling up $2 million. If we pile up $2 million, we focus on accumulating $3 million. And so on, in every manifestation of money and consumption.

Who Profits When Cities Burn? ActBlue, That’s Who

29th March 2025

Read it.

What would you call an organization that collects money from the public and distributes it to organizations that fund riots that result in billions of dollars in damages, that transfer the money to bail out criminals who ultimately kill and victimize innocent Americans, that support terrorist organizations, and that pay for people that engage in domestic terrorism within the United States?

Certainly, you would refer to them by a variety of names. Yet you would at the very least call them criminals.

What I have described is a mainstream organization presently operating in the open in the United States that has not experienced any consequences for its actions in the decades that it has been in operation. It is not a fictitious organization pulled from the pages of a comic book. No, it’s real. It’s ActBlue, the primary Democratic Party fundraising juggernaut that collects billions of dollars in donations annually from the public, distributes the funds and retains a 3.95% processing fee.

Weight Loss Breakthrough: Stanford Scientists Discover “Natural Ozempic” Without the Side Effects

29th March 2025

Read it.

Researchers at Stanford Medicine have identified a naturally occurring molecule that mimics the appetite-suppressing and weight-reducing effects of semaglutide, the active ingredient in Ozempic. In animal studies, this molecule, called BRP, demonstrated similar benefits without some of semaglutide’s common side effects, such as nausea, constipation, and significant muscle loss.

BRP works through a distinct but related metabolic pathway and activates different neurons in the brain, suggesting it may offer a more precise and potentially safer approach to weight management.

“The receptors targeted by semaglutide are found in the brain but also in the gut, pancreas, and other tissues,” said assistant professor of pathology Katrin Svensson, PhD. “That’s why Ozempic has widespread effects including slowing the movement of food through the digestive tract and lowering blood sugar levels. In contrast, BRP appears to act specifically in the hypothalamus, which controls appetite and metabolism.”

Good luck getting it past the foot-draggers at the FDA and the gatekeepers in the AMA. Maybe we’ll have a usable drug in 10 years, and even then you’ll need a prescription, it will cost an arm & a leg, and your insurance won’t cover it.

New Wave of Smaller, Cheaper Nuclear Reactors Sends U.S. States Racing to Attract the Industry

29th March 2025

Read it.

With the promise of newer, cheaper nuclear power on the horizon, U.S. states are vying to position themselves to build and supply the industry’s next generation as policymakers consider expanding subsidies and paving over regulatory obstacles.

Advanced reactor designs from competing firms are filling up the federal government’s regulatory pipeline as the industry touts them as a reliable, climate-friendly way to meet electricity demands from tech giants desperate to power their fast-growing artificial intelligence platforms.

The reactors could be operational as early as 2030, giving states a short runway to roll out the red carpet, and they face lingering public skepticism about safety and growing competition from renewables like wind and solar. Still, the reactors have high-level federal support, and utilities across the U.S. are working to incorporate the energy source into their portfolios.

Good luck getting them past the government EnviroNazis and the kook-Greenpeace Left.

Cancer’s “Master Switch” Blocked for Good in Landmark Study

29th March 2025

Read it.

For the first time, scientists have identified promising drug candidates that irreversibly bind to a notoriously “undruggable” cancer protein, effectively and permanently disabling it.

Transcription factors, proteins that act as master regulators of gene expression, play a critical role in cancer development. Despite years of effort, designing small-molecule drugs to block these proteins has proven largely ineffective. As a result, researchers have recently turned their attention to peptides, short chains of amino acids, as a potential solution for targeting these elusive proteins.

Now, a team from the University of Bath has developed a breakthrough method to discover peptides that can selectively and irreversibly bind to transcription factors inside cells. Using this approach, they have successfully blocked a key cancer-driving transcription factor known as cJun, marking a significant step forward in targeting previously untreatable cancer mechanisms.

Want To Fix The Birth Dearth? Make Marriage Matter

29th March 2025

Melanie Israel from The Daily Signal.

A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about birth data for 2023 is out. For everyone concerned about the long-term decline in America’s birth rate, the report doesn’t show strong signs that much has changed

A cultural change brought about the ‘birth dearth’, and a cultural change will be needed to reverse it. Good luck with that, fringe magazine.

Why should we care about declining birth rates, and what’s driving the trend? As a recent Heritage Foundation report warns, U.S. fertility is now below replacement. Fewer births and our historic low fertility rate will affect the future economy. It will affect programs like Social Security. Don’t forget the military. What about caregiving as the elderly age? A declining population will affect our nation’s future in more ways than we can count.

I would argue that, with automation increasingly replacing lower level human workers with machines, we ought to welcome the fact that our population is shrinking, since that reduces the problem of a surplus of unemployed underclass people who wind up turning to crime, such as robbery and drug-dealing, to live. Social Security is a political problem–it’s basically a big Ponzi scheme–and it will require a political solution (which I don’t expect to happen until it crashes). And the military part of the automation revolution as well, and will gradually shift over being more machines and fewer people. More births is not the solution to every problem.

If you ask 10 people why the number of births keeps going down, you’ll probably get 10 different answers, from housing and child care costs to economic anxiety to student loan debt. While there’s not one sole reason (and therefore not one single policy solution,) at the heart of the issue is marriage—fewer marriages, specifically.

The link between marriage and birth-rate is not that strong. We have plenty of births outside of wedlock in the U.S. (40.5%), and we’re not even in the top ten for number of out-of-marriage births. Marriage no longer has much to do with it. (This has more to do with the agenda of The Daily Signal people to promote marriage rather than any realistic attempt to figure out what the actual cause might be.)

There are three elephants in the room that the chattering class are ignoring:

  1. hormonal birth control
  2. feminism
  3. social media

How these inter-relate and are causing the current situation would take many books to explain, and indeed they have:

Dr. David M. Buss, The Evolution of Desire: Strategies in Human Mating
Dr. David M. Buss, Why Women Have Sex: Understanding Sexual Motivations from Adventure to Revenge (and Everything in Between)
Rollo Tomassi, The Rational Male (part of a series of five books, the sixth is in preparation)

These people need to do some honest research and look at the facts objectively rather than through the distortion field of a preconceived ideology. As Mulder liked to say, the truth is out there.

PA Municipalities Crying Poor After COVID Relief Funds Finally Dry Up

29th March 2025

Read it.

As billions in federal COVID relief dollars run out, Pennsylvania is preparing for a wave of municipal financial distress. The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) wants to add $10 million to the Act 47 fund, which supports struggling local governments. As of March 18, the fund held $17.4 million, and current participants include Harrisburg, Chester, and Newville.

Said municipalities being primarily run (and run into the ground) by Dramacrats, I have no doubt.

Texas Gave 15,000 More MMR Shots This Year – Now It Has More Measles Cases Than the Entire US Had in 2024

29th March 2025

Read it.

Texas administered 15,000 more measles vaccinations this year compared to 2024—and now there’s a growing measles outbreak that has surpassed the total number of cases reported across the entire United States last year.

The news follows this website’s February report that measles cases in Gaines County, Texas, had jumped 242% following a health district campaign to hand out free measles vaccines.

A measles outbreak after higher vaccination rates in Texas calls into question the shot’s claimed effectiveness and underlying design.

I used to get a flu shot every year until I realized that the only times I got the flu was after getting the flue shot, so I quit doing that, and haven’t had the flu since.

Feds Investigate California Schools Accused of Hiding Children’s Gender Transition From Parents

28th March 2025

Read it.

A California policy that prevents schools from requiring staff to disclose a child’s gender identity or sexual orientation to his or her parents may be in violation of a federal law, the U.S. Department of Education announced Thursday.

The federal agency’s Student Privacy Policy Office, which oversees the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act (FERPA), is investigating instances in California where school personnel in various districts allegedly hid information from parents and assisted students with their gender “transition,” a March 27 news release notes.

The Department of Education alleged that AB 1955, which took effect on Jan. 1, conflicts with FERPA, which gives parents the right to review students’ records. The department’s news release said federal law supersedes any state law in this case.
